More than a decade after appearing on Nickelodeon'

More than a decade after appearing on Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush," Katelyn Tarver takes the arena stage in São Paulo tonight — this time as herself. Currently touring internationally with the band on their In Real Life Worldwide Tour, Tarver is stepping into a new chapter with her most personal music yet. Her latest album, "Tell Me How You Really Feel," out today, was written in the year following her divorce, capturing her turbulent emotions in real time with raw storytelling and her crystalline croon. “I was writing it in the moment. I was just so aware that I was never going to be in that place in my life again, and I just wanted to try and record it.” The result is a deeply honest record about identity shifts, heartbreak, freedom, and learning to trust your own voice again. Instead of trying to package the experience neatly, Tarver lets the contradictions live side by side, grief and relief, uncertainty and clarity. "Simpsons" writer Jeff Martin updates the classic "We Are the Mediocre Presidents" with a song predicting all the future presidents, referencing the prediction of president Trump in episode "Bart to the Future," written by Dan Greaney in 2000. For nearly a century, casting directors have shaped the movies we love, discovering new stars, assembling unforgettable ensembles, and often determining whether a film ultimately works or doesn’t. That changes at the 98th Academy Awards, where the Oscars will introduce Best Casting, the first new competitive category added in more than two decades.
